Brecon & Radnorshire's MP Roger Williams has praised innovative proposals for the future running of Crosfield House Residential and Nursing Home in Rhayader, Powys, which could involve the home being run under a social enterprise scheme, rather than it being sold to another provider. Expert advice on that option is being provided and legal advice and guidance has been sought from the Welsh Government.

There are many problems in Wales that need addressing; the struggling economy, poor health service and an education system facing big cuts.

Kirsty Williams and Roger Williams, AM and MP for Brecon and Radnorshire have today outlined how Liberal Democrat tax proposals will benefit 36,100 taxpayers in Powys. Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg and Shadow Chancellor Vince Cable launched the fair tax proposals on Monday in London labelling them the "most radical, reforming tax plans from any political party in many years."

Today, the Welsh Liberal Democrats called for the Government to launch an ambitious national 'green loans' scheme to fund energy efficiency upgrades and the installation of household renewables in every single Welsh home by 2020, and to promote the idea that going green can cut people's bills.
